On February 3, 2026, the Middelton Township Board of Trustees adopted the following Resolution: RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE CURRENT EDITION OF THE OHIO FIRE CODE FOR MIDDLETON TOWNSHIP WOOD COUNTY, OHIO.
Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 505.373, the Middletown Township Board of Trustees adopted the current version of the Ohio Fire Code (“OFC”) as contained in Ohio Administrative Code 1301:7-7 et. seq., and any amendments thereto, to ensure the public health and safety. The purpose of the OFC is to set minimum standards to safeguard life, property, and the public from fire and explosion risks. It applies to all structures, buildings, premises, and vehicles in Ohio and regulates emergency preparedness, hazardous materials, and safety systems. A complete copy of the text of the OFC is on file for inspection at the Middleton Township Fiscal Office located at 21745 N. Dixie Highway, Bowling Green, OH 43402, and also in the Wood County law library located at 1 Court House Square, Bowling Green, OH 43402. The OFC is available for public distribution at cost.
