The electric aggregation program originally passed during the November 2023 election will be renewed this December with Dynegy Energy at an electric generation rate of $0.0878 per kWh. The new rate will appear on the January electric bills of participating residents and small businesses, and the renewal runs through December 2026.
Opt-out letters were recently mailed to affected township residents and small businesses by the supplier, and those choosing to opt out must do so by November 5, 2025.
