Today, Meta informed the township of the 2026 Meta Data Center Community Action Grants program, with an application period running until November 21, 2025. According to the company, this is a competitive grant program, available to public schools in Wood County and eligible nonprofits for projects delivering impact in the county, addressing critical community needs by doing one or more of the following:
- Putting technology to use for community benefit
- Enabling people to build strong, sustainable communities
- Improving local science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) education
Grant recipients will be announced in the Spring of 2026, and grant funds are intended to be used within a year of awarding, making this opportunity suitable for projects starting from spring 2026 onwards.
